New: MCI launches part-time online management course for pilots

Ready for takeoff: In autumn MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® will launch a new type of bachelor's degree programme as part of its executive education activities: The innovative Bachelor's program "General Management", which is offered in English throughout, combines high practical relevance with scientifically sound content in the fields of business administration and management and is specially designed for pilots with professional experience.

Students of this brand-new programme can expect a study plan that can be individually designed, taking into account previous professional and academic knowledge. While key seminars and workshops take place at the MCI's location in Innsbruck, two-thirds of the entire programme is offered as a purely online study programme to ensure a high degree of flexibility in terms of time and location and to best meet the needs of the target group.

In addition, students can complete their studies at their own pace without being bound to the usual semester and lecture times, which means that interested pilots can start flexibly with the continuing education bachelor's degree from October 2022. From autumn 2023, the study programme will also be opened to other target groups.

In the course of the individual online self-study, students will always be personally supported in content-related, organisational and technical matters. This is also emphasised by Prof. Dr. Maria Pammer, academic director of the continuing education bachelor's programme "General Management": "I am pleased that we can offer the future students of this bachelor's programme maximum flexibility and a high degree of individuality. however, 'individual' is not synonymous with 'alone'. Students are accompanied in the learning process by our dedicated team and supported by competent lecturers in case of content-related questions. Through years of experience with online degree programmes, we know what framework conditions working students need in order to successfully complete their studies."
