For companies, the KAT100 Easy Trail offers a special community experience. 8 kilometres and 243 metres in altitude not only strengthen the team spirit, but are also rewarded with special prizes by the region's marketing department. In addition, clubs can also create an extraordinary adventure for their youngsters on the Kids Trail.
The KAT100 Miles with around 174 kilometres and 9,996 metres of altitude difference is Austria's longest and probably also most varied trail run. The supreme discipline is certainly exclusively for professionals and experienced mountain runners, whereas hobby runners and beginners can enjoy the fascination all around on the Easy Trail and Speed Trail. the Easy Trail covers 24 kilometres and 1640 metres in altitude, including the Wildseeloder summit. The Speed Trail is much easier, covering 8 kilometres and 243 metres in altitude and leading past Lake Lauchsee and through the Pletzergraben.
Especially for companies, the organisers, TVB and Regionsmarketing PillerseeTal have prepared a special community experience under the title. "We want to use the KAT100 to strengthen the WE feeling within the region as well and are therefore offering an additional option for the Easy Trail . KAT 100 Easy Trail with PillerseeTaler raffle for companies," says Region Marketing Manager Fides Laiminger. The idea focuses on running with the boss and colleagues. Employees simply register for the Easy Trail and enter their company as the team name. PillerseeTaler will then be raffled off among all participating companies. "And maybe the boss will even pay the entry fee to increase motivation even more," says Laiminger with a wink. Registration for the Speed Trail, as well as for all other distances, is still possible online until 31 July. Late registrations for last-minute participants can also be made up to one hour before the start of the respective event.
An absolute highlight of every KAT100 is the Kids Race. Races from U6 to U16 will be held between 500 and 1,500 metres in the centre of Fieberbrunn. The sporting ambition is one thing, the glow in the children's eyes when they are cheered on by the countless spectators around the village square is the decisive factor. The event together with friends and club colleagues is even more special. "For clubs, no matter if music, shooting, fire brigade or sports, the Kids Race is a unique opportunity to create a very special experience for the youngsters," concludes Hronek.
