Yoga in the park, street art, an extensive children's programme for young Kitzbühel fans, live music of various genres and the newly created PURA VIDA Summer Drink 2022: these are the ingredients for carefree Thursday evenings in Kitzbühel's city centre
Every Thursday in July and August, the Gamsstadt invites you to stroll, taste and enjoy. While in 2021 a virtue was made of necessity, the concept, which was devised together with Next Generation and the participating businesses, developed into a real attraction format.
The first concrete implementation of the we are Kitzbühel branding process initiated by Kitzbühel Tourism impresses with its open, co-creative format. Anyone who wants to participate was and is welcome to do so at any time during the Thursday evenings.
Continuation of a successful conceptWithPURA VIDA Kitzbühel, the young entrepreneurs of Kitzbühel, in cooperation with Kitzbühel Tourism, created an event concept last year that revitalised the summer nights in a new and above all different way. Now it is time to build on this foundation and develop it further with optimised, new and proven ideas.
"The numerous and creative commitment of the members as well as the positive response and the positive feedback on PURA VIDA and the continuous further development of this new format are a confirmation of the brand building process and the co-creative approach to product development," says Kitzbühel Tourism Managing Director Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser, looking forward to the joint continuation this summer.
Varied programme from 4pm to 10pmEverythingis allowed, nothing is compulsory - this is how the PURA VIDA Kitzbühel concept presents itself in a deliberately fluid way. New ideas from the members are constantly being incorporated. Thursday evenings start in July and August in the park, when a free yoga class with the fun-loving Kathrin from OM&CO is offered at 5:30 pm. By the way, rain is no obstacle for all yogis, because then the healthy hour takes place in the Kitzbühel Museum.PURA VIDA Kitzbühel is also aimed at the younger guests. From 4 p.m., they can transform themselves into animal friends or superheroes at the make-up session organised by the Lisi Family Hotel in the courtyard of St. Catherine's Church. The little ones' favourites include the nimble fingers of the balloon animal artists and the original clowns with their entertaining programme. Big children can enjoy PURA VIDA Kitzbühel visually and acoustically from the many cosy guest gardens or actively in the shops of the participating businesses, which will be open longer on three evenings. The warm summer evenings will be accompanied by the musical sounds of a variety of musical acts who will not be playing in one place, but will be moving from business to business, thus involving all the partners. The first event on Thursday, 7 July will be the Tyrol Music Project, a top-class quartet with an unmistakable sound and traditional instruments, as well as the Joe Carpenter Trio with unusual arrangements of well-known classics from rock, pop, country and blues. On the following Thursday evenings, further musical highlights are on the programme, such as MMC-mobile music club, The La Rossa's, Joe Traxler, Tom Daubek andFriends, Kinky Slinky, VZI & Too Spicy as well as the two local DJs Alde Walfons and Bill. The PURA VIDASummerdrink 2022, specially created by Jürgen Kleinhappl, gastronomic director of the Harisch Hotels, expresses carefree joie de vivre in terms of taste. The new in-drink can be tasted in the participating guest gardens - recipe for home included. All information on PURA VIDA Kitzbühel can be found at puravida.kitzbuehel.com
