Kappl startet mit neuem MTB Flow Trail in die Sommersaison

Updated 18.07.2022

Just in time for the start of summer operations at Bergbahnen Kappl, mountain bike fans are offered a new highlight. Since 18 June, the newly opened "Flow Trail Dias" has been winding its way from the top station of the Dias cable car over a length of 3.7 kilometres down to the Egger Chapel in the valley.

The easy "Flow Trail Dias Kappl" is suitable for all flow enthusiasts and leads along beautiful forest and meadow paths in the first section. From the valley station of the Gongall cable car, the nature trail begins with racy approach curves and undulating passages through the Kappl forest area. A total of 333 metres of descent, divided into 38 curves, extend to a longitudinal gradient of almost 10 percent and put bikers in a state of flow.

Investments in infrastructure and leisure facilities

"In cooperation with the municipalities and the mountain railways, we are constantly investing in the further development of our infrastructure and, in doing so, we are also strengthening the expansion of our leisure offer in summer in particular. With the newly built Flow Trail Dias Kappl and our wide range of leisure activities throughout Paznaun, we guarantee varied experiences in our mountains," says Norbert Grissemann, board member of the Paznaun-Ischgl Tourist Association, enthusiastically about the new offer.

Andreas Kleinheinz, CEO of Bergbahnen Kappl, is also convinced that the new Flow Trail will make the hearts of mountain bike fans beat faster: "Already on the first day we received a lot of positive feedback from bike enthusiasts. We are delighted that the new Flow Trail Dias Kappl meets the demands of bike fans."
