From a strudel market to a yoga festival - Tyrol's high plateau has plenty to offer from 1 to 3 July 2022
Feast on the largest variety of strudels in Tyrol, find your inner centre with yoga or listen to Scottish and local sounds - all this is possible on the first weekend in July (1 to 3 July 2022) in Seefeld and the surrounding area. Tyrol's high plateau will be hosting four events in the first three days of July: The traditional Strudel Market, the Good Vibes Yoga Festival, the concert "A Scottish Night" by the well-known Scottish rock band LAGANA and the pipe band Clan Pipers Frankfurt as well as the first summer performance by the Leutasch music band.
The strudel market has been a tradition in the Seefeld pedestrian zone for 15 years and continues to entice visitors with its delicious strudel variations. Apple and curd cheese have almost had their day here. Whether sweet or savoury, with pulled pork, fish or vegetarian: the most exclusive strudels in Tyrol can definitely be found in Seefeld on 2 and 3 July 2022 from 11 am to 5 pm. Three folk music groups, performances by the Seefeld Plattler and the children's programme in front of the parish church invite you to linger in the pedestrian zone. If you prefer to enjoy the strudel delicacies at home, you can of course also take them away with you.
Perhaps they will sweeten a yoga session or two. There will be plenty of them in Seefeld from 1 to 3 July 2022. Tyrolean yoga star Marcel Clementi is hosting the Good Vibes Festival for the first time. Clementi is already known to locals and guests alike for his popular Sunrise Yoga Sessions on the Seefelder Joch. he launched his Good Vibes podcast in 2022 and is now following it up with a three-day festival on Tyrol's high plateau. Together with six yoga greats from Austria and abroad, he will introduce the various yoga styles from 3 pm on Friday and motivate participants to improve their strength, balance and flexibility amidst the high-energy Alpine scenery. The sessions will be accompanied by special sounds from handpan virtuoso Max Neumann and electric pianist Noah Frehmann.
But there will also be music this weekend without yoga and whirlpools. On Friday, 1 July 2022, the Scottish rock band LAGANA will be playing with the Clan Pipers Frankfurt in Seefeld's Kurpark at 7 pm. LAGANA will delight their audience with Scottish and Irish folk melodies, interpreted in a modern way and embedded in a classic rock sound. Those who prefer something more traditional will certainly get their money's worth at the first concert of the summer by the Leutascher Musikkapelle in the music pavilion in the Leutasch district of Weidach at 8.15 pm on the same evening.
The offer on Tyrol's high plateau from 1 to 3 July 2022 is huge: from strudel to yoga to music, there is something for everyone; and best of all, you don't even have to choose. Because thanks to the short distances, everything works together.
