It is known as the "Queen of the Alps" and is enthroned high up on the Glungezer with one of the largest stands in Central Europe - the Swiss stone pine! It has characterised the landscape on the mountain for centuries and offers many opportunities.
Prof. Dr Maximilian Moser from the Human Research Institute for Health Technology and Prevention Research GmbH will provide exciting insights into the power and effectiveness of stone pine in his lecture "The Power of Stone Pine" on Sunday, 10 July 2022. The lecture will take place in the community hall in Tulfes at 10.30 am. Admission to the event is free of charge.
Swiss stone pine wood is known for its beneficial effects on body, mind and soul. Moser, professor at the Medical University of Graz and author of the book "The Power of Stone Pine", combines the latest health research with ancient knowledge about the healing power of trees.

The programme of the Stone Pine Days includes guided nature hikes, show carving, yoga on the mountain and a stone pine market with a wide variety of products made from stone pine wood.
An all-round exciting event for young and old, as the mountain adventure world "Kugelwald am Glungezer" has also had a new low ropes course since this summer.
