Alpbachtal - Get up. Skiing. Breakfast. Just before, only the Pistenbullys were out and about in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau to prepare the descent perfectly. From 5 March 2022, early risers will be the first to put their turns into the freshly groomed snow. First Line Skiing" on the Wiedersberger Horn is a unique experience.
Every Saturday at 7 a.m. the first gondola starts. The snow glistens, the piste is pristine, the early morning sun bathes the landscape in soft light. An absolute highlight in late winter. After the morning runs, make yourself comfortable in one of the rustic huts and enjoy a fine mountain breakfast. An enjoyable mountain breakfast can optionally be pre-ordered directly by telephone in the Kafner Ast huts or in the Hornboden mountain inn. If you prefer to go out at night, night skiing is a great way to get your money's worth.
Ski slopes for night owls
Ski Juwel is one of the best ski areas for night skiing in Austria. When it's already dark and the other guests have long since unbuckled their skis, then it's time to hit the slopes again in Reith im Alpbachtal. On the Reither Kogel, you can take your turns on around 6 km of pistes at night. The freshly groomed pistes are illuminated by a top floodlight system. The Reitherkogel lift, the Nordlift and the Brandachlift T-bar lift are open on Fridays and Saturdays between 6.30 pm and 9.15 pm.
Tyrolean charm from the valley to the summit
This is what you experience in the Alpbachtal tourist region. Even on the approach to the ski area, you pass the quaint villages and wooden houses that give the region its special charm. In addition to Alpbach, which is known as Austria's most beautiful village with its rustic wooden architecture, the Alpbach Valley includes eight other authentic villages and Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town. The charming winter scenery also provides exciting activities off the slopes. With the automatically included Alpbachtal Card, all guests receive numerous free activity programmes.
