There was singing, rapping and conducting: Hans Sigl and his colleagues from the series created a great atmosphere in the festival tent in Ellmau.
When the festival tent in Ellmau becomes the setting for the Bergdoktor show, it means one thing above all for the audience present: to experience an extravagant evening with extravagant show interludes by their series stars. And whoever thinks that the artistic talent of the main actors is limited to acting - was wrong! Hans Sigl himself caused a sensation with several different show interludes, but from the beginning..
The first unexpected "match" was between presenter Andrea Kiewel and the Bundesmusikkapelle Ellmau. As if she had never done anything else, she entered the hall together with the musicians and waved her baton - obviously absolutely correctly, there were no discords to be heard. Once on stage, however, Hans Sigl took over and conducted - how could it be otherwise - the Bergdoktormarsch, composed especially for the series. After this short but inspiring performance, the stage belonged to his colleagues from the series, starting with Andrea Gerhard.
She had a few tips in store for the audience on how to contribute to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle by making small changes in everyday life. In addition to "eating less meat" and treating the environment with more appreciation (such as taking your rubbish back with you when you go hiking!), it is above all "sharing more than owning" that she wanted to give us as a central thought on the way to a more sustainable future.
Love, love, love
One thought that is always an important concern for Rebecca Immanuel is love. Love for oneself, but also for our fellow human beings. So her song choice couldn't be more fitting: she performed the "Power of Love" from Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Not without excitement, because although she had already proven her singing talent on "The Masked Singer", she confessed to the audience: "I have never sung live in front of so many people! And because that worked so well right away, she also performed a second song on stage together with the audience, "Let it be" by the Beatles.
Speaking of love, Ronja Forcher actually had the best news in store: she got married in August! "My husband's name is 'Felix' and I'm very happy with him," said Ronja, sharing her happiness with the audience. That she is always up for a joke was shown by a very special interlude during her performance: the fans got to see something that is normally hidden from them... outtakes! And Ronja Forcher herself was also able to laugh heartily on stage about the little hiccups shown during the filming.
"Martin, my only friend" as a song
Of course, there was also enough to make the audience laugh during Mark Keller's performance. Because as everyone who has experienced him live knows, he is at least as entertaining "in real life" as he is on Instagram and the like, where he keeps the audience in a good mood with his two sons and his dog "Cooperle". On stage, he revealed that he actually comes from singing - which his performance of "Thats amore" absolutely underlined. But the fact that he had also brought along a song composed especially for the "Bergdoktor" left one person in particular amazed: Martin, "his only friend". So it was exactly this line that was the refrain and title of the song sung by Mark Keller, while then "Martin", i.e. Hans Sigl entered the show stage. And he, too, revealed a "talent" of his to the audience, of which certainly nobody knew anything yet..
Or who has ever seen Hans Sigl rap? Whether he will also do this in the future in the series as the Bergdoktor is rather unlikely - but his most important goal was another one anyway: to thank the crew, without whom there would be no "Bergdoktor". After all, they too had come to the marquee after their long day of filming to be part of the show and certainly didn't expect this very special "thank you".
Hans Sigl was then surprised by a very special (video) message. He was asked on stage if he could still remember his first series doctor's assistant? "Of course, Christina Pagel," came the prompt answer - and immediately the video message from actress Mareike Fell, who embodied the assistant Christina back then and still looks back on that time with many good feelings, which also visibly pleased Hans Sigl.
