Das Kufsteinerland Gästemagazin wird digital erlebbar

Updated 19.04.2022

The TVB Kufsteinerland is building a bridge from the analogue to the digital world and, with the MOMENTE magazine in cooperation with the Kufstein agency ofp kommunikation, is making the seasonal print publication a virtual experience for guests.

The Momente magazine tells lots of exciting stories from Kufsteinerland - until now with lots of letters and pictures. Now all readers can also expect videos, sounds, 360° recordings and much more. As versatile as Kufsteinerland is in summer, its stories are also presented in a colourful and, from now on, interactive world. And this is how it works: Simply download the free app "Livi", activate the contents of the magazine in the app, hold the camera on predefined symbols and the contents are played.

What not so long ago appeared to be science fiction is now being used more and more widely: Augmented Reality (AR). This technology makes it possible to experience content virtually. This means that in contrast to Virtual Realitiy (VR), in which one is completely immersed in a virtual world, AR extends reality with digital elements. "With Augumented Reality, we are building a bridge to the digital world. Without giving up the haptic magazine, you can now dive even deeper into our region. The digital and the real world connect," TVB Managing Director André Lomsky is convinced. Chairman Georg Hörhager is also proud of the new approach: "Guest needs have changed in recent years due to the Corona pandemic and the resulting increasing digitalisation. With the new Momente magazine, we are responding to this zeitgeist and doing pioneering work in Tyrol."

The new app "Livi AR", which was developed by "VITAMIN D", is used for the first time in the TVB Kufsteinerland's magazine Momente. This is published twice a year and, in addition to reports and impressive pictures from the region, now also features digital content for the first time. Thomas Oberhuber, Managing Director of ofp kommunikation, is enthusiastic about the joint pilot project: "AR offers great opportunities to inspire customers. Whether for print products like magazines, for trade fairs or showrooms, product presentations, cultural institutions or adventure trails - with AR we create convincing brand experiences." The magazine is available to all guests at the information points of the Kufsteinerland Tourist Association and in many businesses.
