Save the Date: Friday, 31.03. - Saturday, 01.04.2023 in the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area
After having to do without a lot the last two ski seasons, the tourism association Erste Ferienregion im Zillertal and the Hochzillertal ski area are organising a season highlight that will be remembered. Originally, the ALPICON was already planned for 2020, but had to be postponed. All the greater is the joy that the Zillertal mountains will finally become an outdoor stage for electronic house beats this year, while the ski huts spoil their guests with culinary delights. The programme is: first carving then grooving - and that up to 2,400 metres above sea level. With international and local house music artists, the slopes become a dance floor. When the lifts close, the guests ski down together and the festival continues in the valley.
This mountain festival should be an unforgettable experience for guests from home and abroad, with an unusual and varied programme. That is the plan of Manfred Pfister, Managing Director of the tourism association Erste Ferienregion im Zillertal. To achieve this goal, the exclusive ski huts in the area will be transformed into cool stages, which will be played by DJs and live acts. Visitors to the two-day event can look forward to numerous international acts from the fields of house, disco house, deephouse, club house and tech house.
In addition to countless musical performances, the ALPICON Festival also offers various other highlights. For example, visitors can indulge in culinary delights on Europe's highest Martini Terrace in the Albergo at 2,400 metres, or taste exclusive wines from what is probably Europe's highest wine cellar in the Wedelhütte.
"We are not the most active valley in the world without reason. That's why there's plenty of action at our festival in addition to music and enjoyment," says Pfister about the programme.
During the day, the perfectly groomed slopes in the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area can be actively used for spring skiing, while relaxed, electronic beats play throughout the ski area. After the end of the lift operation, the mountain air is exchanged for disco balls and guests can dance and party at the numerous other events in the valley. Whether concert, action or culinary, the ALPICON combines everything and the Zillertal mountains, in the heart of the Alps, offer the perfect backdrop!
