The guitar is tuned, the harmonica is polished and the traditional costume is ready - now it can start, the legendary Alpine Party in Fügen. On 30 and 31 July 2022, the Zellberg Buam and their celebrity friends invite you to the Festhalle in Fügen.
A party with friendsWithlots of atmosphere and groovy rhythms, the "Zellis" will get all folk music lovers on their feet from 7.00 pm on Saturday. The Fetzig'n from the Zillertal, the Stritzis, the Mayrhofner and d'Noudnigl'n also have "a handful of music" in their luggage - perfect for singing and swinging along. "The Zellberg Buam are quaint, genuine and cheeky - everything we stand for in the Zillertal. We are looking forward to celebrating our Tyrolean homeland with them and other well-known folk musicians on this legendary weekend," says Manfred Pfister, Managing Director of the Tourism Association of the First Holiday Region in the Zillertal.
Zillertal legendsForover 30 years, the brotherly trio has been making music in inns and on international stages alike. Down-to-earth and likeable, Werner, Gerhard and Herbert Spitaler discovered their musical abilities at an early age. Thanks to grandfather Jörg, 12-year-old Gerhard learned to play the violin. This was to take the boy's mind off things when a broken foot confined him to bed. Shortly afterwards, however, the passion for folk music ignited, which can still be felt in the songs today. On the new album "Unterm Zillertaler Himmel", the brothers combine the traditional with modern elements and a lot of charm. Violin, harp and Styrian harmonica still lend a great piece of "Hoamat" - the attachment to the beloved Zillertal mountains, meadows and forests can be felt in every note. If you want to experience these enthusiastic musicians live, the best place to be is in front of the stage in Fügen's festival hall at the end of July.
