On Friday, 19 and Saturday, 20 August 2022, the time has finally come again: the popular Absam Village Festival will take place in the village centre.
The opening of the festival will take place on Friday, 19 August at Stamserplatz. At 6 p.m. the beer will be tapped by the Olympic medal winner Lukas Greiderer.
On the large festival mile, which encompasses the entire village centre, a total of 18 associations of the village as well as the gastronomy offer the best entertainment, enjoyment and attractions for all age groups.
In addition to the culinary delights from Absam Bräu to Absam wine & cider, lamb specialities, Zillertaler Krapfen, Tiroler Grösl, Schnitzel, Würstel, Crêpes and much more, there are further highlights: the village wading championship (Saturday, 2 p.m.), Bag Jump, archery, beer slide, Hau den Lukas, wheel of fortune, as well as a large children's programme on Saturday from 2 p.m..
There will be lots of live music (The Boons, Just 4 fun, Cherry Bomb, Sonnwend) and a disco. A delegation of the Bürgermusikkapelle Absam will also be present.
