4. Father und Son Days in Nauders am Reschenpass glänzen mit perfektem Konzept

Updated 12.08.2022

For the fourth time, the cross-generational bike weekend took place on the 3-Länder Endurotrails from 5 to 7 August. The action-packed family event was fully booked within a very short time. A total of 150 fathers and trail-enthusiastic offspring took part in the Father & SonDays 2022 in Nauders am Reschenpass.

Together with bike legends Holger Meyer and son Lois Eller, Nauders developed the special event for sporty father-child moments. Coaches from Lawnmowers, which organises mountain bike and riding technique camps, ensured that everything ran smoothly. They were supported by guides from the Bikeclub Nauders, who were also present at the event as part of the bike training. Just like the past three editions of the Father & SonDays, this year's event also provided trail adventures with a family character.

Beaming children's eyes on the trails

The 3-Länder Endurotrails are a well-known and popular area in the MTB scene. For the fourth time, they proved to be the perfect location for the sporty family programme. After action-packed bike descents, the 150 participants, including kids from Bikeclub Nauders, enjoyed cosy moments around the campfire. At an original barbecue with the grill master "The Smoker Richy" (Knapp Richy from Pfunds), experiences were exchanged and successes celebrated at the evening contest. With the Father & SonDays, the biker region wants to give children an introduction to trail riding. "More and more kids are getting enthusiastic about biking. Especially the new Zirmtrail as well as the new Skillcenter on the Bergkastel are perfect for beginners," reports TVB Managing Director Manuel Baldauf. Technique tips and tricks provided variety and the necessary knowledge. The international bike magazines BIKE, Born BIKE Magazine, MTB News and Outville have already reported on the ingenious concept.

Holger Meyer from Rasemähern is enthusiastic: "We hit the bull's eye with the father and son concept, the bike industry is developing exactly in this direction, so that the whole family can meet on the trails while biking!"

Event arena and large expo

Once again this year, the event base was in the Schlosswiese below Naudersberg Castle. The exhibitors included DEUTER, Continental, Bike Components, Vpace, Scott, Oakley, Propain and SRAM

Bike Club Kids also part of the party

The Bike Club Nauders was also invited to the barbecue evening with around 50 kids as part of the bike training organised by the tourist board. So all in all, lots of excited children's eyes.
