On 26 February 2022, a very extraordinary event will take place in Kitzbühel when numerous participants climb the legendary ski slope in the impressive mountain race Streif Vertical Up powered by Dynafit.
Where usually the best downhill racers in the world race for victory in the Ski World Cup, on 26 February 2022 participants will run uphill in the speed class or in the backpack class, because the original Streif with 3.312 kilometres and 860 metres of altitude difference has to be conquered. Under the motto "No Rules", almost everything is allowed on this evening, as long as the power comes solely from the muscles of the participants. The material, however, may be freely chosen - running is done with spikes, skins, touring skis, snowshoes, crampons, etc., whereby each material has its advantages and disadvantages, depending on the weather and snow situation.
Those who want to be part of this extraordinary event now have the chance to get a starting place at www.vertical-up.com.
