On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the OeAD, the Agency for Education and Internationalisation, supports study and research projects of Austrian students in Taiwan. This should lead to international research cooperation and the establishment of sustainable partnerships.
Two students from MCI | Die Unternehmerische Hochschule® received the coveted scholarship and will spend two semesters in Taiwan's National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST). Simon Poschinger and Elena Preymann, both students of International Business & Law, received the scholarship after successfully completing the multi-stage selection process for their outstanding achievements in their studies. Ralf Geymayer, Head of the Department of International Business & Law at MCI, is enthusiastic: "The stay abroad in Taiwan enables Ms. Preymann and Mr. Poschinger to gain unique experiences. In addition to the high academic level, Taiwan offers one of the most dynamic regions in the research and development of new technologies. Last but not least, the exciting and educational cultural environment also contributes to an unforgettable experience."
Since 2021, the English-language Master's programme International Business & Law offers a double degree agreement with the "College of Management" of NKUST. This double degree agreement enables students to obtain an MBA at NKUST in parallel to the MCI Master's degree (MA). "Financial support is an important support and certain relief for our students during their stays abroad. Being nominated for a scholarship is confirmation for the students that they are on the right professional path," adds Leena Saurwein, Project Manager for International Relations.
