After the successful premiere of "Hooo Ruck am Berg" last summer with Erwin Aschenwald and the group "Die Mayrhofner", there will again be "zünftig aufgielt" on the local alpine pastures this year. For the first time, the BLECHLAWINE will be performing with top-class brass bands, thus actively supporting and expanding the newly introduced concert series "Music on the Mountain". Admission to all concerts is free of charge.
The "Hooo Ruck am Berg" event series already proved last summer that music events can also be successfully held under special conditions. On the initiative of full-blooded artist Erwin Aschenwald and his wife Uschi and in cooperation with the local mountain hut owners and the Mayrhofen-Hippach Tourism Association, this new event concept took place on the mountain for the first time - and the success proved them right. The event series "Music on the Mountain" will be continued this year and will be supported by the BLECHLAWINE. Under the banner BLECHLAWINE am Berg 1.0, locals and guests alike can look forward to additional concerts of top-class brass music.
Andreas Hundsbichler, chairman of the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region, comments: "The longing for nature and being outdoors is particularly great this year. With these concerts we create a little time out from everyday life. Music is simply good for the soul and our mountains offer a backdrop that couldn't be more beautiful. It just makes your soul soar and we all need moments like that."
Hoo Ruck on the mountain
Erwin Aschenwald and "die Mayrhofner" kick off "Music on the Mountain" with "Hooo Ruck am Berg", which takes place on six dates from July to September at different mountain huts. Visitors are treated to hearty "Zillertaler Musig", hits from the world of Schlager and popular catchy tunes.
