Certainty, predictability and reliability are essential cornerstones of a degree programme. MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® is working flat out to prepare for the new academic year in order to guarantee high-quality on-campus study programmes from the coming semester. In this way, the MCI will provide students in the vibrant Alpine metropolis of Innsbruck with the study conditions that make interactive studying, learning, exchanging ideas and meeting people in this formative stage of life something very special.
With a comprehensive mix of modern learning concepts and accompanying security measures, MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® gives all students the planning security they need to start and continue their studies on site at the campus in Innsbruck.
Back to the university
Interaction plays a key role in knowledge transfer, because learning is a social process that thrives on exchange. This interaction in presence will once again be the focus at MCI from autumn onwards. Claudia Mössenlechner, Head of the Department of Learning Solutions, is delighted: "We have been able to improve the learning materials and platforms with new ideas in recent months and have thus seen an enormous boost in the development of teaching. Students returning to MCI in the autumn will benefit from these developments."
Service-orientation as an advantage for students
In addition to interactive teaching concepts, the MCI attaches great importance to individual student support in order to ensure intensive contact with lecturers and a lively exchange with fellow students.
As Office Manager, Denise Müller looks after the Bachelor students on the Nonprofit, Social & Health Management programme at MCI: "I receive daily enquiries from students who I have known personally since the admission process at MCI and provide them with individual support. They turn to me when they have difficulties finding literature or need support in using digital platforms, but the questions also range from finding accommodation in Innsbruck to kindergarten places and personal issues, where I endeavour to provide them with the best possible support." This enables students to receive personalised support at every stage of their studies. This support, combined with information available on special websites, makes it as easy as possible for MCI students to return to on-campus study.
Secure teaching operations
Thanks to detailed planning and established concepts, the MCI can react flexibly and quickly to different situations. Tommy Mayr, Head of MCI Infrastructure, explains: "In this way, we ensure the smooth running of courses, examinations and progress in the degree programme and can give everyone involved the planning security they need."
Applications will be accepted until 27 June 2021 for the start of studies in autumn.
