Gault&Millau 2022: Benjamin Parth einmal mehr bester Koch Tirols

The "Gault&Millau 2022" gourmet guide confirms Ischgl's excellent top culinary quality before the start of this winter season: Two Ischgl establishments are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the province of Tyrol. Once again, Benjamin Parth and his gourmet restaurant Stüva (18.5 points / 4 toques) took first place in Tyrol. Second place goes to Gunther Döberl's Stiar (17.5 points / 4 toques). Most recently, the Guide A la Carte 2021 as well as the Falstaff Restaurantguide 2021 already confirmed the excellent gourmet cuisine of Ischgl with numerous top placements of the Ischgl toque chefs.

In addition to only five restaurants in Austria that have achieved the top rating of five toques (19 points) in the Gault&Millau 2022, there are eleven top establishments that have been awarded 18.5 points (4 toques). Among them is the gourmet restaurant Stüva, which was able to maintain the previous year's result of 18.5 points with constant quality and is thus the best-rated restaurant in Tyrol.

The restaurants chosen by Gault&Millau also include many other Ischgl addresses: With 4th place in Tyrol and four toques, Patrick Raaß, as the new head chef of the Schlossherrnstube, ranks among the best toque restaurants in his very first year. Also among the top 12 addresses in Tyrol with three toques are Andreas Spitzer's Fliana Gourmet (15.5 points) and Martin Sieberer's Heimatbühne (15.5 points). Furthermore, Space73 (13.5 points) and Weinstube (13 points) were awarded two toques. The Lucy Wang (12.5 points) and the Alpenhaus VIP (11.5 points) were each awarded one toque.

Martin Sieberer's Paznaunerstube is not rated in the current gourmet guide because it was not open during the test period in 2021 due to the pandemic and the first service will not be included until after the Gault&Millau 2022 is published. The top restaurant, which was awarded 4 toques in the Gault&Millau 2020, will certainly show up again in the next award.
