An exciting adventure park including a children's playground, boulder towers and barbecue area awaits guests and locals on the Idalp in Ischgl, guaranteeing relaxation for young and old. Located at 2,320 m above sea level, the park is open daily until 19 September and is only a few minutes' walk from the mountain station and easily accessible by the Silvrettabahn A1 or Fimbabahn A3.
The adventure park has been around since 2008, when it was built around the Idalp reservoir. After the pond was removed in autumn 2020, the space that was freed up was used and the Vider Truja was expanded with numerous attractions. Today, boulder towers, a Kneipp facility, trampolines, slacklines, a sand play area for small children and two landscape ponds with a raft make for a varied visit. In addition, the infrastructure has been expanded to include several barbecue areas, a toilet facility, a drinks/snack machine, sun loungers, hammocks and an e-bike charging station.
SECRET TIPSAtmospheric barbecueexperienceJustafter the water adventure trail in the Vider Truja adventure park, one of the most beautiful spots in Ischgl offers the opportunity for extensive barbecue fun. Grilling is done on open fireplaces with their own grills, and several benches and tables are available for refreshments. Only the barbecue utensils have to be brought by the visitors themselves, the necessary wood is available on site.
Revitalising barefoot trailTake off your shoesand feel the mountain: on the barefoot trail, tired hiking feet become active again. This is due to the different surfaces of the path, which massage the soles of the feet, promote blood circulation and stimulate the entire organism in a beneficial way via foot reflex zones
Traditional dishes in the Alpenhaus and Videralp mountain restaurantsAfterexploring the adventure trail and barefoot path, you can relax in the Alpenhaus mountain restaurant or on the large sun terrace of the Videralp. The regional delicacies round off a fulfilling day and afterwards guests can return comfortably to Ischgl by cable car.
