On Friday, 16 October 2021, the Streif will once again be the centre of attention when the extreme sportsman and inventor Josef "Sepp" Resnik invites you to the 1st World Extreme Run Challenge.
According to the motto "Seek your personal limits", the participants - either in single or teams of four - will start from the Kitzbühel town centre on Saturday, 16 October 2021 at 11:00 am. A maximum of 1,600 challengers will fight their way up the world-famous Streif piste to the Hahnenkamm start house, where a split time will be taken before the same route is taken back down to the Kitzbühel pedestrian zone.
The "World Extreme Run Challenge", which is organised on a voluntary basis, stands for overcoming one's inner pig for a good cause. The net profit will go in equal parts to the organisations sports4everybody and Global Family - associations supporting young sports and families of victims of violence.
Furthermore, tickets for EUR 10.00 each can be purchased now at Kitzbühel Tourism, all participating shops, car dealer Yesca, the partner hotels of Global Family as well as at the municipality of Kitzbühel. The draw will take place under notarial supervision on 16 October 2021 at 10:00 pm. A list of the valuable prizes, such as luxury holidays or an 18-litre gold-plated MASSIV wine bottle from the Keringer winery, can be viewed on the websites global-family.net and kitz-extremechallenge.com. From 17 October 2021, the winning numbers will be published on both websites and the prizes prepared for collection or shipment.
