The lockdown must not threaten students' livelihoods again!
Due to the pandemic, many students are facing financial bottlenecks. The reason for this are recurring lockdowns, which make it very difficult to pursue student part-time jobs. We want to help with our ÖH Lockdown Support Fund!
Dear students,
We would like to draw your attention to an important matter which we hope will help you to cope with the lockdown and any financial problems:
>>> Apply for a student grant!!!
Unfortunately, the Scholarship Office is receiving fewer applications for study grants than ever before! This is despite the fact that there is a greater need for financial support at this time of year. Our tip: Just try it! It doesn't take long and in the best case you will receive up to about EUR 600 or EUR 800 per month.
It is important to note that many students are more likely to be eligible for financial aid because of the financial losses caused by Corona. If you have never been entitled to benefits due to your parents' income situation, this could have changed now if your parents had to suffer income losses in 2020 due to Corona. The assessment basis of your parents' income for the current application is precisely this year.
There have also been some additional legal changes that have made it easier to get student aid.
<< Just try it! >>
