Traumnoten für MCI bei CHE Hochschulvergleich 2020

The recently published university comparison by the international Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) once again delivers excellent results for the MCI. With its high-quality study programmes, the Entrepreneurial University® achieved 88 (!) places in the top group.

The CHE University Comparison 2020 focused on Bachelor's degree programs in the fields of business administration and social sciences. For the MCI, this means the following Bachelor's degree programs:

  • Business Administration Online
  • Management, Communication & IT
  • Management & Law
  • Nonprofit, Social & Health Management
  • Social Work
  • Tourism & Leisure Industry
  • Economics & Management
  • Industrial Engineering & Management

The overall grade of the MCI study programmes examined is 1.7 on the scale used by CHE (1=very good to 6=very poor). Translated into the grading scale used in Austria, the value is a fantastic 1.4.

The top grade at MCI is Management, Communication & IT with 1.5, followed by Tourism & Leisure Management (1.6) and Business Administration Online and Industrial Engineering, both with 1.7.

Particularly pleasing: a whole range of indicators brought MCI placements in the top group without exception. These include the close networking with professional practice, the reliable duration of studies in the allotted time and, in particular, also the support provided to students not only when they enter the programme, but also with regard to the supervision of students during their studies. Top marks were also awarded for the high level of employability (career orientation & preparation) and for the international orientation.

MCI Quality Manager Brigitte Auer and MCI Rector Andreas Altmann emphasise in unison: "At the MCI, the excellent and continuous qualitative development is impressively confirmed, as internationality, networking with business and society as well as first-class student support and efficient student services have been among its strategic objectives since the university was founded."
