In cooperation with the MCI, the Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung (SWZ) regularly announces a scholarship for entrepreneurs, managers and junior managers in South Tyrol to accompany and support them in their professional and personal development. This year's award of 4,500 euros goes to Matthäus Kammerer from Kiens near Bruneck, who will use it to attend the certificate course "General Management".
Asked about his career goals, Matthäus Kammerer first tells of his big dream: the graduated mechanical engineer wants to contribute to making the world a better place. One of the ways he wants to do this is by switching from combustion engines to electric drives. At his employer, the internationally active company GKN ePowertrain in Bruneck, he is getting closer to this dream every day. After gaining initial professional experience as a project manager, he now wants to get to grips with entrepreneurial contexts and strategies. The next career steps should bring him even closer to his goal: To be involved in the electrification of mobility.
The MCI General Management course was designed as a management training course for people without a background in business administration and thus fits perfectly into Matthäus Kammerer's life and career planning. Optionally, the course can also be integrated into an Executive Master's programme leading to an MSc degree. Matthäus Kammerer: "I always wanted to do what I do 'whole'. That's how I came to study mechanical engineering, that's how I practice my profession, and that's how I will approach this further education. I'm really excited about this opportunity!"
SWZ and MCI offer their warmest congratulations.
