There is good news at the MCI: the winner of this year's Industry Magazine ranking comes from Tyrol. This was reported in the recently published issue of the Austrian business medium. The ranking is based on a survey conducted in cooperation with the opinion research institute IMAD among human resources managers and managing directors of the TOP 100 companies in each province on the quality and image of universities that have UAS degree programmes in their portfolio.
With an impressive image score of 1.66*, the MCI won this year's evaluation. In addition, the MCI is the only university to have regularly achieved top 3 positions in the ranking in previous years. The editors of the study see the MCI as a particularly entrepreneurial university with an enormously diverse range of Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes as well as high-quality executive programmes, which score not least in the segment of tailor-made continuing education.
"Science, technology and innovation are the sources of domestic prosperity," says a delighted Bernhard Tilg, Provincial Councillor for Science, as Chairman of the MCI General Assembly: "I congratulate the entire team in research, teaching, management and administration on this latest award. The MCI makes a significant contribution to securing and further developing the international positioning of Tyrol as a centre of science."
"Quality, internationality, brand and network are the building blocks of a successful university," adds MCI Rector Andreas Altmann. "Our declared goal is to enable motivated people to excel and to use them responsibly and successfully in business and society. I am very pleased about this extremely positive view and recognition from Austrian companies and thank all employees for their great commitment."
