MCI Executive PhD-Programm startet zum vierten Mal

The four-year MCI Executive PhD programme with students from all over the world is aimed at experienced, internationally active executives and managers who, in addition to their professional activities, would like to apply state-of-the-art research knowledge and academic expertise to complex economic issues in the context of a dissertation. The internationally recognised doctoral programme is run jointly by the University of Antwerp, Antwerp Management School and MCI. In Austria, the programme is certified by AQ Austria.

In November 2020, the MCI Executive PhD will be launched for the fourth time. The measures taken in the wake of the COVID pandemic will not change this: Markus Kittler, Scientific Director of the PhD programme at the MCI, explains: "When we saw that the international travel restrictions would remain in place for several months in the wake of the COVID pandemic, we changed the modules originally planned for autumn 2020 on campus to hybrid and online modules. Participants will be able to complete their PhD studies as planned without any loss of quality or time."

The modules planned for autumn 2020 will therefore take place online, and the MCI can draw on several years of expertise in online learning. "Several years ago we already started to convert our MBA programmes to blended learning with mobile and online formats. This expertise now helps us to further develop the Executive PhD programme in a highly professional manner with regard to the new requirements and to provide students with optimal support," therefore adds Susanne E. Herzog, Head of the Executive Education Department at MCI. The on-campus network meeting will be held again as soon as the health risks can be controlled and travel restrictions are lifted.
