Once again, the MCI has good news to celebrate. In the recently published MBA ranking of the Austrian industry magazine, the Entrepreneurial School® recorded the second-best recommendation rate among all Austrian MBA providers surveyed.
According to the study, the MCI enjoys a high recommendation rate as well as an above-average level of awareness. The MCI began converting its MBA programmes to blended learning with mobile and online formats years ago. Working students not only want an MBA programme that promotes career development and prepares them for international challenges in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, but also that its didactic format is suitable for managers whose professional activities cannot be confined to a single location. "Our MBA programmes are based on MCI's more than 20 years of expertise in executive education and training, coupled with an intelligent blended learning concept. Classroom phases on campus are supplemented with synchronous and asynchronous online courses that students can attend regardless of where they are," explains Susanne E. Herzog, Head of MCI Executive Education and responsible for the programme. So the best of both worlds is combined. The online elements improve the compatibility of work, further education and family. Students come to the campus to get to know each other, for personal exchange between students and lecturers and for the all-important networking.
This successful approach is now also confirmed in the study by the industry magazine: According to the study, managers opt for an MBA to further their professional and personal development. In addition to the facilitated study through online elements, however, executives also value personal interaction, joint learning and networking directly at the university. Just as the MCI's blended learning concept provides, in other words.
To the MBA ranking:
In March 2020, the opinion research institute IMAD surveyed 151 managing directors and HR managers of Austrian companies on behalf of Industriemagazin. The survey covered awareness of Austrian MBA providers, willingness to recommend MBA providers and basic expectations of an MBA programme. The top 100 companies in each federal state formed the basic population.
