Successful Virtual Hour at the MCI

Special times require a special approach. So that interested people can get to know the MCI even in times of COVID and exit and contact restrictions, a new online format went over last Friday with great success for the first time. In a live stream on Instagram, MCI Rector Andreas Altmann and lecturer Wendy Farrell answered questions and took part in discussions. More than 120 guests were present online. Questions could be submitted in advance or asked live. The range of topics included interesting facts about the MCI as an Entrepreneurial School®, the MCI's study programs and the admission process, not least in light of the COVID measures. Questions from prospective international students related, for example, to language courses, scholarships, finding accommodation and leisure activities.

In the course of the COVID 19 measures, practically the entire study programme at the MCI was temporarily converted to online and distant learning. The MCI benefited from its expertise in the field of online learning. In the past few years, the MCI has consistently worked on building up its eCampus, so that 8 of 26 study programmes are already regularly offered in the mobile learning format.

Please make a note: The next livestream on Instagram is scheduled for Friday, 17 April . The focus will be on online and part-time study programmes as well as the part-time continuing education programme for executives.
