In cooperation with the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), the Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung (SWZ) offered a scholarship of 4,500 euros to entrepreneurs, managers and young executives in South Tyrol to accompany and support them in their professional and personal development.
With her application for the coveted scholarship, Silvia Valentino from Mals in South Tyrol made it onto the shortlist of the best applicants and was invited to the hearing at the Unternehmerische Hochschule®. There she was able to convince the jury in all points and was unanimously chosen as the winner of this year's SWZ Award.
Silvia Valentino, who studied education and psychology, is the managing director and a founding member of the Vinschgau Social Cooperative (SOVI) in Silandro, which provides support for children and young people in difficult circumstances. In order to drive the further expansion of the care services and to be able to manage them well economically, she applied for the scholarship for the practice-oriented business management course "General Management". The jury impressed her with her enthusiasm and high level of commitment to the interests of the social cooperative, but also with her professionalism and, last but not least, with her strategic thinking and wealth of ideas for future developments.
The Südtiroler Wirtschaftszeitung and the MCI offer their warmest congratulations.
