MCI Tourism Masters in the "Global Top 50 Ranking"!

Once again, the Entrepreneurial University® has very good news to report: For the third time in a row, the Master's programme "Entrepreneurship & Tourism" is the only Master's programme in Austria to be listed in the internationally renowned Worldwide Ranking of "EDUNIVERSAL".

"EDUNIVERSAL" measures the quality of the programmes on the basis of three main criteria

  • Awareness and recognition by potential employers,
  • Positions and starting salaries of graduates immediately after graduation, and
  • Student satisfaction with the quality of their studies.

The positive results of "EDUNIVERSAL" confirm the consistent development work of the MCI and the exemplary quality of tourism studies at the MCI, which has been one of the most important tourism education programmes worldwide for 19 years now with more than 1,400 (!) graduates.

Hubert Siller, Head of the MCI Tourism Department, sees the excellent ranking result as recognition of the continuous quality development: "Our Master's in Entrepreneurship & Tourism is steadily improving. This is not only reflected in the increasing number of international applications, but above all in the recognition by employers and the job market. We are happy for our students that we are able to accompany them on their path and support them as they start their successful professional lives."

MCI Rector Andreas Altmann adds: "Quality, internationality, brand and network are the building blocks of a university's success. I am very pleased that our Master's programme 'Entrepreneurship & Tourism' has made it into the Eduniversal 'Global Top 50 Ranking' and congratulate Hubert Siller's team warmly on this great result, which should be confirmation and incentive for our further work."
