"350 years of the University of Innsbruck is a proud anniversary that inspires us to pause and pay tribute," say LFUI Rector Tilmann Märk and MCI Rector Andreas Altmann, expressing their joint delight at the proud history and extraordinary success story of the Leopold Franzens University of Innsbruck (LFUI). "What would Innsbruck and Tyrol be without this institution for research, education and innovation, which enjoys the highest international reputation?"
"The MCI has decided to publicly express its joy and heartily congratulate its university mother and alma mater," added MCI Rector Andreas Altmann on the occasion of the unveiling of banners and flags displayed at the MCI site. To add: "Of course you don't come to a round birthday with empty hands". That's why we at the MCI thought about what we could do to give our university mother a special treat.
"The result is something to be proud of," says LFUI Rector Tilmann Märk, expressing his delight: "The MCI is providing the LFUI with five high-quality continuing education master's degree places worth between 14,900 and 18,900 euros each, which we will be able to award to staff members of the University of Innsbruck over the next few years. The study places offer a high-quality academic further education opportunity in the areas of digital business, digital analytics and online studies, i.e. precisely in those future-oriented areas that are becoming increasingly important in the university context and in which the MCI has set standards."
