Recruiting Forum 2018: MCI-Studierende begehrte Employees

On 26 November 2018, the Recruiting Forum at MCI - Management Center Innsbruck took place for the twelfth time. The top-class recruiting event, at which more than 60 companies - more than ever before - met over 1000 highly qualified MCI students - has become a fixture for MCI students and top companies from Austria and abroad.

The aim of the annual event is to give students and young graduates the opportunity to get to know potential employers of tomorrow and to find out about (inter)national and regional companies from a wide range of sectors. The varied programme - from company presentations to direct counselling interviews to feedback opportunities for German and English CVs - enabled participants to learn about companies, their personnel policies and corporate culture and to get valuable insider tips for their applications. The companies, on the other hand, used the opportunity to position themselves as attractive employers and to find talent for their companies. Badrutt's Palace Hotel, Cura Marketing, Easybooking, Essilor, Flixbus, Getzner, Lonza, Morgan Sindall, NTS, Omicron and Synedra took part for the first time this year.

Magdalena Posch, Chairwoman of the Student Council at MCI, appreciates the good cooperation with the Career Center and the pronounced practical orientation of her university. "The MCI Recruiting Forum gives us students the opportunity to meet a variety of attractive employers and internship providers. Even and especially in times of social media, online application procedures and Skype interviews, the personal interview is an optimal door opener in the application process."

Brigitte Huter, Head of the MCI Career Center, is delighted with the Recruiting Forum's sustained success: "Interest in the MCI Recruiting Forum has been growing steadily for 12 years - on the part of both students and companies. I am pleased that with the Recruiting Forum we have created such a lively platform for networking between students and employers."
