The annual MCI Creativity Award honours outstanding business and product ideas and is aimed at all MCI students who want to assume economic and social responsibility through their entrepreneurial spirit. This year, a total of 50 students demonstrated their wealth of ideas, entrepreneurial potential and founding spirit. The submissions reflect the entire range of studies and research offered at the MCI and come from economic and social science disciplines as well as from the fields of technology and life sciences. The five award winners were selected by a critical jury in a demanding multi-stage selection process.
Marcus Hofer, Managing Director Startup Tirol: "The MCI Creativity Award gives students the opportunity to deal with central questions about the market potential of their idea. It's incredible what the motivated MCI students and their creative minds are capable of!"
Bernd Ebersberger, Head of Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the MCI: "With the MCI Creativity Award, the MCI opens the doors for its students to start a business. The winners are actually all: the local economy as well as the students, who receive individual feedback and support for their entrepreneurial concepts."
