28. Tyrolean Economic Forum

The Tyrolean Business Forum will take place for the 28th time on Wednesday, 7 November 2018, at the Congress Innsbruck. This makes it one of the leading business conferences in Austria, as impressively demonstrated year after year by top-class speakers and several hundred participants from business, society and politics. This year, the organisers - led by the MCI and the Federation of Austrian Industries Tyrol - present as keynote speaker none other than the long-time President of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize winner of 1993, Frederik Willem de Klerk.

The motto of the Tyrolean Business Forum 2018 is "Courageously Shaping Change" and it is considered an important platform for entrepreneurial impulses, discussions and networking far beyond the country's borders. The top-class lectures are embedded in an attractive supporting programme with a gala dinner, "Marende" and wine tasting. In addition to Nobel Peace Prize laureate Frederik Willem de Klerk, the following speakers are expected:

  • Helmut Fallmann, co-founder and board member of Fabasoft AG, an international software manufacturer based in Linz
  • Barbara Wittmann, Co-Managing Director of LinkedIn Germany and Head of the DACH Talent Solution of LinkedIn Germany, Munich
  • Judith Williams, CEO and (co-)owner of Cura Marketing GmbH and Judith Williams GmbH, opera singer, book author, start-up juror & investor, Innsbruck/Munich
  • Sven Seidel, Group Executive for Digitalisation and Multichannel Retail, Otto Group, Hamburg
