GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® 2023

The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a holistic movement concept that also specifically moves the whole person. Over and over again gyro - circling, spiralling, stretching, breathing and circling as a whole organism. It is a movement system that uniquely combines thousands of years of Far Eastern knowledge of body energy with modern movement theory. I teach the homework sequences from this extensive system on the stool and on the floor. These holistic movement sequences are taught in a build-up manner, each course unit we repeat the exercises and add new details. Gyrokinesis is when only stool and floor exercises are done, these are the same exercises as in Gyrotonic, but you also work on a piece of equipment. The homework sequence I offer does not require any equipment.
