The cross-country skiing camp with biathlon taster training in PillerseeTal guarantees a unique cross-country skiing experience for newcomers and pros alike. The cross-country skiing Mecca in the Kitzbühel Alps is hosting this fantastic cross-country skiing camp in the biathlon stronghold of Hochfilzen from 9 to 12 March 2023.
Hochfilzen is known for biathlon, but there are also numerous perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails around the World Cup venue . Participants explore the region on brand new test equipment from Fischer during joint cross-country skiing sessions. Experienced guides accompany the participants through the huge network of trails around Hochfilzen and impart the necessary cross-country and biathlon expertise.
As a special highlight, aspecial guest has been invited for 2023:biathlon World Champion & Olympic medallist Dominik Landertingerwill spend a day on the cross-country ski trail with the participants, including technique training, video analysis and know-how from top-class sport. During a cosy fireside chat, he will also give training recommendations and share interesting facts about equipment.
On Sunday 12 March, the next highlight awaits all motivated participants: the joint start at the Volksbiathlon in Hochfilzen!
TheFairhotelin Hochfilzen will serve as the "base camp" for the participants. In Tyrol's first passive energy hotel, athletes can look forward to a rich breakfast buffet with regional and organic specialities, perfectly tailored to the needs of cross-country skiers. Access to the PillerseeTaler cross-country trail network, which is over 100 kilometres long, is right outside the hotel door. Dinner is served at the nearbyHotel Edelweiss in Hochfilzen.
