A camping holiday is becoming increasingly popular and Tyrol offers over 85 options. The choice for campers ranges from a resting place close to nature to a luxurious tree house. By the way, wild camping is not allowed in the heart of the Alps, but that is no reason for sadness: the campsites in Tyrol offer just the right thing for every demand.
Small and fine
If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to enjoy the experience of nature, a stop at Mountain Camp Pitztal is a good choice. This small and nature-oriented campsite in Jerzens offers pitches for only 38 motorhomes and caravans on an idyllic site, tents can be pitched on the meadow around the waterfall. In addition, guests can rent the Alpine Bungalow for one to five people here. The highlight at Mountain Camp is the pond with jetty and sunbathing lawn: Here you can swim and fish! For mountain enthusiasts, the campsite is also an ideal starting point for hikes, summit tours and excursions by mountain bike.
The family campsite Lechtal Camping Vorderhornbach is located in the middle of the Lechtal Nature Park. The 40 pitches are embedded in the impressive mountain panorama of the nature park region. In addition to the pitches and tent sites, guests also have access to cosy huts and rustic caravans. Among the facilities on offer are the (public) nature adventure pool on the site and a bistro for days when you don't feel like cooking. The Lechtal cycle path and the Lech hiking trail can be wonderfully discovered from here!
For luxury campers
A holiday in the middle of nature with an extra portion of luxury awaits campers at the Zugspitz Resort campsite in Ehrwald in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Campers can use all the amenities of the adjacent 4-star superior Zugspitz Resort, from the 1,500 m2 play and water world to the restaurant. At the campsite itself, guests can choose between 100 standard and 98 comfort pitches with extra space all year round: Among other things, both offer access to the deluxe bathhouse with 35 bathing rooms.

The 5-star campsite offers enough space and modern infrastructure in all price categories: From standard pitches for tents and minivans to the luxury category in XXL format (160m2).
