With a tailwind and effortlessly you can reach the most fascinating places of the Alpbachtal by e-bike. And for racing cyclists, the region offers over 22 bike routes on pure asphalt.

Six specialised bike accommodations can be found in the region and offer everything cyclists need. The accommodations specialise in making the cycling holiday as pleasant as possible and are the ideal starting point for an unforgettable tour. E-bikes and mountain bikes can easily be rented at one of the professional bike rentals in the Alpbachtal. Valuable instructions and tips are included with your bike.

Experience the racing bike pros at the Tour of the Alps

The cycling race "Tour of the Alps" (17 to 21 April) will start in Alpbachtal. On Sunday, 16 April, the official opening will take place at the Alpbach Congress Centre, before the first stage, starting in Rattenberg and finishing in Alpbach, is scheduled for Monday, 17 April. In this stage, the field of riders will ride from Rattenberg over 127.5 kilometres to Alpbach. The first mountain classification awaits in Brandenberg. This is followed by a climb to Reith, which can be seen as an appetiser for the decisive kilometres at the end of the stage: The riders have to climb up to the Kerschbaumer Sattel, which has climbs in the double-digit range in several sections. e-Bike Battle Alpbachtal The Alpbachtal Bike Days take off in 2023 and bring completely new challenges for e-bike fans: The first e-Bike Battle starts in the Reither village centre on Saturday, 3 June. Participants have to prepare for 1,300 hm and numerous special stages such as Hill Climb, Parcours and Sprint along the 29 km route. Exciting mountain time trial:TheReither Kogel TrophyTheReither Kogel Trophy goes into the next round on 4 June. The successful single-start mountain time trial is part of the Alpbachtal Bike Days and challenges the participants over 6 km and 560 hm.
