24.03.2023 I Friends of the Zillertal Arena know what perfect firn and emerging spring fever mean. It's time for the legendary Lederhosen Wedel Week! And this year it's already been 10 years: From 10 to 16 April 2023, all traditional costume fans can look forward to a genuine programme and many highlights on the slopes and in the huts of the Zillertal Arena.

How it all began..

In April 2014, the exceptionally long winter season, mild temperatures and the upcoming Gauder Fest in Zell am Ziller - Austria's largest spring and traditional costume festival - provided the necessary inspiration. 10 years later, the Lederhosen Wedel Week is still the highlight at the season finale in the Zillertal Arena.

3+1 free ski pass from 10-16 April 2023

Anyone who buys a 3-day ski pass during the Lederhosen Wedel Week from Monday, 10 April to Sunday, 16 April, will receive a free ski pass for the 4th ski day within the aforementioned period - the only requirement is that you ski in traditional costume. The huts in the Zillertal Arena offer many specials during the week, such as free schnapps and Weißwurst-Frühschoppen for all Tracht fans. And if you're in the right place at the right time, with a bit of luck you'll find one of the attractive prizes hidden in the Lederhosen Wedel Week in the Zillertal Arena: from short breaks and day ski passes to a new traditional costume outfit!

Lederhosen Wedel Party on 15 April 2023

The highlight of the week is the Lederhosen Wedel Party on Saturday, 15 April with Matty Valentino and others live on stage in the Krocha Alm in Zell am Ziller from 3pm. Warm up with the finest firn runs paired with live music in the huts throughout the Zillertal Arena. The Lederhosen & Kilt Gaudi Ski World Cup is another highlight for all traditional costume fans in Königsleiten. The ski pass for everyone in dirndl and lederhosen is available on this day for Euro 33.00.
