Das war der Familientag auf der Hohen und Kleinen Salve

Updated 12.10.2022

Animal hikes with alpacas, action-packed play stations and a concert by Ice Queen Elsa as a highlight! All this and much more made children's hearts beat faster on Sunday, 9 October 2022, on the Hohe and Kleine Salve.

The family day was musically opened by singer "LUMINYA" as ice queen Elsa and her friend Olaf, the snowman. Afterwards, the little fans could pick up an autograph card at a Meet & Greet and get very close to their idol.

A colourful games programme with handicrafts and make-up stations, culinary highlights and exciting attractions such as a Punch and Judy show at the KRAFTalm and a magic show at the Berggasthof Tenn also awaited young and old mountain climbers. The fluffy llamas and alpacas from the Hinterheacha farmer were also present this year at the Alpengasthof Rigi.

For the hunger in between, the hut hosts served tasty dishes and the sweet stand at the summit of the Kleine Salve spoiled afterwards with a large selection of sweet treats.

After an action-packed day on the mountain, all the children were able to pick up a small present at the valley stations and round off the successful day. The Hohe Salve cable car in Hopfgarten and the Salvistabahn in Itter took guests comfortably to the summit on Family Day. And at unbeatable prices! On Family Day, everyone got their day ticket for half price! The Hohe Salve Tourist Association would like to thank all the guests, both young and old, for taking part and all the innkeepers, helpers and co-organisers for their active support and is already looking forward to next year!
