Open day for "Bike Tirol" in Wörgl

The tourism association Ferienregion Hohe Salve and the city marketing Wörgl invited to bike together! With the open day for the new (e)-bike rental system "Bike Tirol" at the main station in Wörgl, the system was explained to visitors in person and made attractive.

Right in the heart of the town, the new mountain bikes and e-bikes were ready to be tried out and tested on 14 August 2021. The programme was successfully rounded off with lively music from Radio Wörgl+ and tasty goodie bags with contents from the Spar company, the Tirol Tourist Board and the Tourist Association. The visitors enjoyed testing and the new possibility to rent top bikes in a simple and uncomplicated way.

How does the rental work?

Via the "Bike Tirol" app you can select the desired bike for the desired location on a desired day and book it using a credit card. During the ride, you can easily lock the bike with your smartphone and active Bluetooth connection.

As easy as you rent your bike, you can also return it: Put the bike back, plug it in again for charging if necessary and end the ride via the app.

"Bike Tirol" is therefore a perfect rental system for everyone who ideally likes to get on their bike directly from the public transport and enjoy nature.

In addition to the location in Wörgl, there are also other locations in Kufstein and Matrei.

Bike Tirol is a partner project between ÖBB, VVT, Tirol Werbung, Inn-Bike and Communalp and is funded by the province of Tyrol.
