1.) ÖH Informs
- Test opportunities at the UNI campuses
Good news! Your ÖH, together with the university, offers free testing opportunities for students at different locations of the University of Innsbruck.
Especially now that a negative test result is obligatory for attendance courses, testing opportunities at UNI are essential! Therefore, we are happy that this possibility will now be available for all students.
Without pre-registration! Only student ID is required.
Campus Technik (Technical Sciences, First Aid Room, ground floor)
Monday & Wednesday each from 16:00-18:00
Tuesday & Thursday each from 8:00-10:00 a.m
Campus Innrain (Container in front of the Main Building)
Monday & Wednesday each from 8:30-10:30 a.m
Tuesday & Thursday from 16:00-18:00 hrs respectively
Campus Sport (car park Burkia)
- Public test opportunity as part of the initiative "Tirol testet" without registration and daily from 11:30-13:30 and 17:30-19:30.

-ÖH elections
We would like to inform you that ÖH elections will take place between 18 and 20 May. There you can elect your representatives for the next 2 years.
You can easily vote during the election days at your university location. If you are not in Innsbruck on the election days, you can already apply for an absentee ballot. Then you can easily vote by post. Please note that you can then only vote for the university representatives and the federal representatives, but not for your student representatives!

-Sonnendeck and Marktplatz will remain open
After our meeting with Mayor Willi, we can assure you that there will be no closing of the Sonnendeck and the Marktplatz.
-Mobility grant - public transport bonus for over-27 students
Until 30.4. you can still apply and get 10% of your public transport annual ticket (Tyrol) back!

The mobility scholarship was set up by us, your ÖH, to financially support students over 27 who suffer from the high cost of annual tickets.

Self-care is an essential building block to strengthen one's own crisis competence. Nevertheless, many people find it difficult to prioritise their own needs. In this online workshop we will focus on your strengths and resources. You will learn why me-time is important and how you can better integrate it into your everyday life.
2.) Aurora:
Spring and Summer Programmes in Europe
You want to acquire new skills and knowledge for your studies and improve your career opportunities?
From virtual mobility formats to summer schools in the warmer months, the Aurora course programme offers new opportunities for you as a student. The different universities of the Aurora Alliance offer courses on topics such as "Global Health" or "International Criminal Justice".

3.) Aurora COVID Student Conference - 7 May 15:00
This is a free virtual conference for students from across all Aurora Universities to hear from, and engage with, experts working at Aurora partner institutions who have been active in responding to and researching the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

4.) Funding programme netidee
1 million euros funding for innovative Internet projects and scholarships The big Internet funding campaign in Austria started again on 26 March 2021. netidee funds innovative projects that make the Internet more helpful, safer or better. 50.000 euros of funding are possible per project. Students have the opportunity to secure a grant of up to 10,000 euros for their final thesis on the topic of the Internet.

5.) Studying in Israel - Virtual Information Event 28.04.2021
On Wednesday, 28.04.2021, at 16:00, the virtual information event on "Studying in Israel" will take place.
The various exchange programmes, scholarship opportunities and the application process will be presented and you will of course also have the opportunity to ask questions.
