Dear Student,
dear student!

Welcome back to the new semester! We hope you were able to enjoy the lecture-free time and successfully complete your last exams. Now we're off into the new semester with all our energy - we're looking forward to spending time together with lots of new activities and projects!

Dear first semester students!

Welcome to the UNI Innsbruck - We are glad that you have decided to study at the LFU. Even though this semester is going to be a bit unusual for you, we wish you a successful start and look forward to getting to know you soon. If you have any questions, problems or anything else concerning your studies or your life as a student, please feel free to contact us at any time - we are here for you!

We also recommend that you take a look at our homepage(www.oeh.cc), like our Facebook page(www.facebook.com/oeh.innsbruck) and follow us on Instagram (oeh_innsbruck) - there you will get all the latest news about studying and be well informed.

1. Corona Update
The reading and study spaces in the libraries are open again from today 1 March. Please follow safety and hygiene rules such as wearing an FFP2 mask. You can reserve your study space online at: https://www.uibk.ac.at/ulb/aktuelles-veranstaltungen/2021/lesesaal.html

Unfortunately, the current epidemiological situation does not allow for much relaxation, so courses and exams will only take place virtually for the time being. There are still exceptions, for example, for laboratory practicals, practical sports exercises and individual examinations - here we ask you to make use of the free antigen tests offered by the province of Tyrol. After Easter, the situation will be re-evaluated and, if necessary, further opening steps will be taken at the university.

The Ministry is working on a strategy to ensure that examinations and studies can once again take place in the presence of students. We will of course keep you up to date on this!

Please report all infections with the coronavirus to corona@uibk.ac.at and arbeitsmedizin@uibk.ac.at (in cc). All documents and information can also be found at: https://www.uibk.ac.at/newsroom/informationen-zum-coronavirus.html.de
