Im wahrsten Sinne göttlich: Das Herbstkonzert der BMK Bruckhäusl

Updated 22.09.2021

On Sunday, 10 October 2021, the Autumn Concert 2021 of the Bundesmusikkapelle Bruckhäusl will take place at 7:00 pm in the Clemens-Holzmeister Church in Bruckhäusl.

Divine in the truest sense of the word: in honour of the Italian poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri and the 700th anniversary of his death, the autumn concert will be dedicated to his major work "The Divine Comedy" or "La Divina Commedia". With the pompous symphony of the same name in four movements (Hell, Purgatory, Ascension, Paradise), composed by Robert W. Smith, Kapellmeister Hannes Ploner sets the standard for this year's musical concert highlight.

Together with sensual as well as sweeping works by Derek Bourgeois, Frank Ticheli, Yosuke Fukuda and John Rutter, the sacred space of the church provides an ideal setting for this distinctive programme. Sarah Dissertori also impresses with a demanding solo on the "Concertino" for flute by Cécile Chaminade.

It has long been no secret that the BMK Bruckhäusl combines entertainment with music at the right moments. This year, too, the entertainment factor will not be neglected. Anyone who wants to be convinced of this can be curious.

After the concert, all visitors are cordially invited to a joint agape and a cosy get-together in front of the church.
