For more than 10 years, Cemit GmbH has been supporting companies and scientific institutions in Tyrol in the development and implementation of international research projects. In the course of the successful implementation of complex contracts, the platform has been able to develop a high level of competence in project development, elaboration or evaluation of business models, conception and submission of funding applications as well as accompanying project management.
Now Cemit is taking other shareholders on board in addition to UMIT: In addition to the Swiss Leading Health Centers GmbH, MCI Management Center Innsbruck, Tyrol Equity, Bionorica Beteiligungs-GmbH and the private individuals Mag. Wilfried Stauder and Prof. Dr. Günther Gastl are participating in the growing innovation network.
Andreas Altmann, Rector of the MCI: "We expect synergy forces between the Entrepreneurial University® and the institutions now involved from the 10% participation in Cemit. Positive effects are expected for our own institution, the participating institutions and, last but not least, for the joint science and business location."
